I am fortunate to have recently chosen to simplify my life, retire from teaching, and move to Northern New Mexico. My life is full of beauty, simplicity, and adventure, but I missed working with students and teaching calculus! So now here I am working one on one with students in a subject I love! 

In my teaching career, I taught IB Math AA HL and SL and AP Calculus AB and BC for 16 years, and my students had great success on the IB and AP exams. I have extensive training in both the AP Calculus and IB Math AA curriculum with an emphasis on test preparation. 

In tutoring, I focus on teaching, assessing, and reteaching the content with a focus on building confidence and success on the exams. I am patient, compassionate, and love to help students realize their full potential in math. My experience teaching hundreds of students IB and AP helps me to quickly assess your strengths and weaknesses so we can develop a plan for your success in your class and on the exams. I set the foundation with conceptual understanding, to be sure you understand why things work the way they do, and then layer in skill building and problem solving. Your needs will guide every session, as I cater lessons to focus exactly where you are struggling.
